Humanitarian

Sunoco

The Red Cross is fueled by Sunoco in more ways than one, making them one of our leading humanitarian corporate sponsors. Thanks to Sunoco, students at more than 15 Philadelphia schools - in Red Cross Clubs - receive the life-saving training and service-learning opportunities they need to become tomorrow's leaders.  Sunoco also helps ensure that Red Cross volunteers can respond around the clock, whenever and wherever disaster strikes, without having to worry about running low on fuel.  The Red Cross is grateful for Sunoco's corporate citizenship that makes a difference in our neighbors' lives everyday.

Toll Brothers

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter of the American Red Cross is pleased to welcome Toll Brothers as the first member of our new Corporate Partnership Program. Through their longstanding commitment to the work of the Red Cross and their willingness to take the lead in supporting this new program at the Humanitarian Level, Toll Brothers is helping to ensure that the Chapter and its 8,377 volunteers are there 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to answer each family’s call for help.

Hero

Independence Blue Cross

Whenever the Red Cross needs a helping hand, Blue Cross and its employees are there to lend it. In the fall of 2005, during the height of the Hurricane Katrina response, Blue Cross rallied its staff to volunteer at a gate collection at the Philadelphia Eagles home opener to help raise thousands of dollars for those whose lives had been devastated by the storm. Most recently, Blue Cross stepped forward once again as the Red Cross launched its new Corporate Partnership Program by becoming one of the programs first Hero-level partners.

PECO

The Red Cross is powered by PECO in more ways than one. The American Red Cross and PECO have enjoyed a partnership for more than 10 years, supporting one another’s important role in the Greater Philadelphia region. PECO has collaborated with the Red Cross on almost every aspect of our work from community education programming to having a corporate Red Cross Walk team, sponsoring events like Citizen of the Year, and having their employees stuff fire safety education bags used for post fire neighborhood walk throughs. Most recently PECO has stepped up once again by becoming the first ever sponsor of our new eNewsletter, The One Minute Update.

SAP

Thanks to the support of corporate friends like SAP America, the American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania has been able to continue to have a profound impact on our local community despite an unprecedented year in assisting with catastrophic national disasters. Through SAP’s participation in the Corporate Partnership program, we are able to help residents throughout the region prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies every day. We can only bring help and hope to families in need with the generous support of corporate leaders like SAP America.
