
Disaster Action Team Trainee
Purpose |
The entry level within the Disaster Action Team is the DAT Trainee. As a trainee, a disaster volunteer has the opportunity to observe and participate in disaster response while concurrently receiving the formal training to become a DAT Technician. Assignment as a DAT Trainee requires completion of application and orientation to ARC Disaster Services |

Time Commitment |
It is preferred that DAT trainees volunteering in the city sign up for at least one 12 hour on-call shift per week. The shifts run from 6:00am – 6:00pm or 6:00pm – 6:00am. Branch Captains may decide how they want their team to respond |
