Intern

Purpose

The duties of the Interns are to assist the Human Resource Department with special events and specific assigned duties. This may include maintaining records and communicating with different departments of the SEPA Chapter, with key decision makers, volunteers and other agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Willingness to support Red Cross Mission
  • Assist in the development of corporate, individual and foundation solicitations and marketing materials
  • Develop and manage prospect grids
  • Interact with board members, Committee members and volunteers
  • Help prepare for exciting special event fundraisers including golf tournaments, black tie galas, and silent and live auctions
  • Maintain prospect information for Annual Campaign and Special Events
  • Assist with administrative needs and special projects for the department
  • Database management
  • Backup coworkers as needed
  • Be familiar with ad adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Relationships

Reports to Human Resource Department Supervisor

Qualifications

  • Ability to do research
  • Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access
  • Excellent verbal and written skills are required
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
