Position Title |
Administrative Assistant |
Purpose |
To work on a part-time basis to assist with various assignments to support the organization’s efforts. |
Key Responsibilities |
- Willingness to support Red Cross Mission
- Provide administrative support to the Department
- Maintain and update brochures, flyers, and training materials.
- Develop and maintain department calendar.
- Data input into numerous databases and maintain data integrity.
- Organizing and filing documents
- Operate office equipment (fax, copier, shredder, etc.)

Qualifications |
- Experience working in a professional office setting utilizing all applicable equipment.
- Knowledge of databases and MS Office products.
- Proficiency in People Soft, and Power Point, is desired
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact easily with staff and volunteers of diverse backgrounds
- Must be organized and details oriented
- Must be a team player and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a volunteer environment.
- Experience in administrative, management, recruitment or a business related field.
- Strong computer proficiency required including knowledge of MS Office
- Experience working with volunteers is desired
- Ability to write professional reports and business correspondence
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a detail-oriented environment
