Children's Holiday Party & Toy Drive
The American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter will help make the holidays brighter for nearly 700 children and families affected by disaster this year.
The annual Children’s Holiday Party will be held on Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008 from 6pm to 8pm at a surprise location. The evening – featuring food, music, activities, popular cartoon mascots and Santa Claus – is made entirely possible thanks to the generosity of local companies, volunteers and the community, who donate time, toys, delicious treats, and prizes; bringing the holiday spirit back to families who have had to endure hardship this past year.
As an added bonus, Santa Claus and his elves will pass out presents, which are currently being collected during the American Red Cross holiday toy drive.
To help make the holidays sweeter, the Red Cross is seeking donations for our toy drive and holiday party. If you would like to help, please drop off a toy at any of our toy drive locations listed below, or contact Amy McHugh at 215-299-5717 or by email at mchugha@redcross-philly.org.
