Our chapter offers a wide range of services to the people of Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties, and most of Bucks and Delaware counties. Click on the links below to learn more about our four main lines of service: When disaster strikes, the Red Cross provides shelter, food, and health and mental health services to address basic human needs. We also provide emergency assistance to military families through the Armed Forces Emergency Services program. A local and national leader youth development and training, our chapter plays a significant role in schools, neighborhoods, recreational centers, and faith based organizations of the region. We offer specialized programs utilizing hands-on activities and service learning opportunities, striving to empower children’s lives by focusing on skill development related to personal and civic responsibility, healthy behavior, and preparedness. Learn more... The chapter provides lifesaving education and skills through training in First Aid, CPR/Automated External Defibrillator, and water safety. In addition, we offer programs in Nurse Assistant Training and workplace HIV/AIDS prevention. Our chapter helps to link people separated during times of disaster or conflict, provides instruction and resources on International Humanitarian Law, and helps other Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies to build vital programs and services in developing countries.
