Greetings,

Red Cross volunteers have shown us so many times the meaning of service, so it was fitting that they took the lead at the recent Dr. Martin Luther King Day of Service in Philadelphia.

So many of you responded to the call for service that we were able to train hundreds as disaster preparedness trainers who will in turn go out and train thousands more. We begin this month's newsletter with complete coverage of that remarkable day.

Thank you for showing your commitment to Dr. King's legacy and as always to the Red Cross mission.

Sincerely,

Tom Foley
