Disaster Response Communications

Keep in touch!

Help us ensure clear communication between the volunteer and staff responders, disaster officials, clients, and the Bridge.

To improve communications between the volunteer and staff responders, disaster officials, clients and the Bridge, we want to remind responders that they must contact the Bridge when they are:

  1. Leaving for the disaster scene
  2. Arriving at the scene, AND
  3. Leaving the scene with a final report.

This will allow us to correctly complete the incident log, track our two-hour response time standard of performance, and allow us to communicate to clients and disaster officials about our approximate arrival time to the scene.
