Greetings!

This month’s Emergency Services (ES) Newsletter begins with a tribute to the people who make our work possible - Red Cross volunteers. We are fortunate to have more than 1,000 volunteers here in ES, and we have put them to work in the last year. Our recent Celebration of Volunteers was a way to say thank you for your hard work.

You’ll also learn how our region is preparing for disaster, pick up some Fire Safety tips and meet some new staff. Enjoy!

Sincerely,

Maureen Tomoschuk
Senior Director, Emergency Services
