When I'm In Charge

This video-based program discusses how to be safe and responsible when students are home on their own or taking care of younger family members. Stresses the importance of creating a "Home Alone Plan" with adult caregivers addressing each families' specific "home alone" rules and behavior expectations. Topics addressed include stranger safety, having a person to call, safe activities, an emergency plan and internet safety. This program is appropriate for students in grades first through fifth.
