Celebration of Women, Red Ball, Health & Safety Trainings Among Events Planned

The American Red Cross Southeastern Pennsylvania Chapter celebrates the 66th Annual Red Cross Month with nearly 100 events and outreach activities.

Every president since Franklin Roosevelt – in 1943 – has deemed March as National Red Cross Month, a month where “our people rededicate themselves to the splendid aims and activities of the Red Cross.”

Each year, the American Red Cross responds to 70,000 disasters - more than 900 of which are right here in Southeastern Pennsylvania. It is only with the support of people in the region that the Red Cross is able to answer the call for help, one family at a time, whenever disaster strikes.
