New Staff SEPA Emergency Services and VOAD would like to welcome 5 new staff members to our team. Alex Agosti is taking on the role of Manager of Preparedness. Alex comes to us from Building with Books, a non-profit providing education and literacy to developing countries. We are happy to welcome Alex to our team. Ellie Moore has returned to the SEPA chapter as the VOAD coordinator. Ellie was originally an AmeriCorps member, then hired on as the Volunteer Resources Coordinator until resigning last year to pursue graphic design. We are happy to welcome Ellie back to the SEPA family. Tania Clinger has been helping the American Red Cross SEPA chapter since September with Hurricane Katrina Deployment. We are thrilled that she has accepted a position as VOAD citizen corps coordinator and will be with us permanently. If you get a chance come by and welcome Ellie and Tania!
Jessica Karpuk Please join us in welcoming Jessica Karpuk as the newest member of the ES staff at Red Cross House. Jessica's role as Program Coordinator is to manage the volunteers at RCH, coordinate the After-School Tutoring and Evening Activities, oversee the summer camp and other special projects at RCH. Jessica is finishing up the second-year in the Teach For America Program and teaches in the School District of Philadelphia. She will also complete her Masters Degree in Education at Chestnut Hill College this Spring. Welcome, Jessica.
Victoria Hertlein Please join us in welcoming Victoria Hertlein as the newest member of the Preparedness staff. Many of you may already know Vicki from her outstanding leadership during Hurricane Katrina in our National Call Center. Vicki has accepted the position of Mitigation and Planning Coordinator, holding this position as well as finishing her Masters of Social Work Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Welcome, Vicki.
