Hello!
Welcome to the February 2010 edition of the American Red Cross Southeastern PA (SEPA) Chapter Emergency Services newsletter.
Since January 12, our hearts and our minds have been focused on Haiti, and it's been all hands on deck here at our Chapter as we support the effort on the ground in Haiti and our many efforts in the Haitian community here at home.
As our thoughts focus on Haiti, we have continued to do all the other things we do here at the SEPA Chapter, including responding to 65 local disasters and providing emergency relief to 316 people in January.
Thank you for supporting all we do at the American Red Cross.
All the best,
Tom Foley

Note from Tom Foley

|
We can start today by helping disaster relief agencies like the Red Cross and others whose service is immediate and life saving. But if we are going to respect Dr. Kings words about that inescapable network of mutuality, we have to commit to addressing the poverty and not just answering the earthquake.
