Health Fairs, Parades and Speaking Engagements

To request SEPA Red Cross representation at an event please read the following in its entirety.

At least 3 weeks in advance of the event, requests may be made. All requestors must complete a Health Fair Participation form, which may be sent:

1. By e-mail to HFH@redcross-philly.org

2. By FAX to 215-405-8518

After receiving the request, a representative will call the contact person for further clarification.

At least one week in advance of the event, a confirmation letter will be sent to the sponsor with name of the SEPA representative. Confirmations will be made as early as possible.

SEPA does not provide health screenings, such as cholesterol or blood pressure. In keeping with our mission, SEPA has a long tradition of providing health and safety information and demonstrations to residents in our service area.

We receive more than 200 requests each year for:

• Representation and informational materials at Health and Wellness Fairs (200 or more attendees)
• Speakers for school, community and church groups, corporate meetings and service clubs (25 or more attendees)
• Red Cross vehicles at parades and other events

Due to constringency of personnel and budget plus the emergency services nature of our mission, it is not possible to fulfill all requests.
